In an old tales, there were 2 powerful gods who competed with each other to marry the king's princess. Thinking the power of the Sea god would not benefit his people, the King arranged a contest in which whoever brought the rarest wedding gifts in all the land first would have the right to marry the princess. Being unable to gather the gifts as fast as the Mountain God, the Sea god arrived later and lost his princess. This event began a eternal rivalry between two gods, which resulted in the annual Rain and Storm season. However, the Sea god had never won against the Mountain God.

As time goes by, most of the resource in the Land has been using up. The power of the mountain god is not enough to satisfy the greed of his people anymore. And with science, human no longer believe in their God and have no respect for their land. Forests are burned, Mountains are destroyed, and the weather becomes hotter. And the Sea god strikes against.
With giant tsunamis, the Sea god cleans the surface. The Mountain god is unable to defend the Land. Having his revenge, the Sea god finally meet a girl, a reincarnation of the princess in the past. She tells him that human greed need to be cleansed and they need a new start. This time on the sea.

The tale's... uhm... kinda familiar...
Son Tinh Thuy Tinh I guess...
Well, just wonder if the princess had ever loved Thuy Tinh. All the wedding gifts were easy for Son Tinh and that's unfair. How can a tale told to children be like that? As if it taught children to cheat =.=
